The short version: You are buying a circular space on a creator’s X cover, not from us. They set the price, take or refuse your offer, and put the cover on their own profile. Listing costs a one-off $15. Brand My Cover runs the board. The placement is between you and the creator. Brand My Cover is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.
Who is who here
Brand My Cover (“the platform”, “we”) is the marketplace at brandmycover.com. It is operated alongside BrandMyLaptop. Contact: hello@brandmycover.com. Publisher details are on the legal notice.
A creator is the person whose X cover it is. They set the spots, the prices, how long the listing is open, and how long the cover stays. They accept or decline offers, then download the PNG and upload it to their own profile.
A brand is whoever pays for a spot on that cover. The sale is between the brand and the creator. The platform publishes the listing and is not a party to the placement. We do not own the X account, do not upload the cover, and are not the creator’s agent beyond running the board.
Brand My Cover is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. X is a trademark of X Corp.
What you are buying
A circular spot on one named creator’s X header, at the size and place the listing shows, kept there for the months that listing promises, from the day they put the cover up. You also get that logo on the listing page here.
What you receive is a place on a 1500 × 500 cover PNG the creator uploads. X scales that one file. You are buying presence on that profile, not a post, not a reply, and not a number of views.
How buying works
- Each spot has an asking price set by the creator. You offer that price, or another number.
- The asking price may not get approved. The creator picks which offer they accept or deny.
- The creator downloads one cover and uploads it to X. Until they do, the logos are on this site only.
What listing costs
Putting a cover on the board costs a one-off $15, paid to the platform before it is published. It buys the listing itself, not a sale. It is not a subscription, there is nothing to renew, and it is not returned if your spots do not sell. Its purpose is to keep the board clear of listings nobody intends to promote.
A listing runs for the days you chose, from 7 to 30. The cover stay is the months you chose, from 1 to 12. Listing is not a guarantee that anyone will buy. What a cover sells depends on who you are and who you send to the page.
Refunds, and who owes them
If a creator declines your offer, you are not buying that spot. Once they accept, they owe you the place on the cover for the term the listing showed. If they take the cover down early, or never put it up, they owe you that placement back. The money sat with the sale, not with the platform.
The $15 list fee stays with the platform either way. Tell us at hello@brandmycover.com anyway. We can take a listing down. We cannot compel a payment we never held.
If you are the creator
By putting a cover up you confirm you are 16 or over, and undertake to:
- own the X account you signed in with, and be allowed to change its header;
- review offers yourself, and accept or decline them;
- download the cover and upload it to X once a spot is sold, then keep it up for the months you promised;
- use only labels, copy and links that are yours and that describe you truthfully;
- settle your own obligations to brands, including a refund where one is due, and your own tax wherever you are.
The platform may decline to publish a cover, and may take one down.
Your logo
By sending a logo you confirm you have the right to use it and to let the creator and the platform show it on that cover and on this site. You answer for it. If it infringes someone else’s rights, the claim is yours to settle.
Whose content is whose
Brand My Cover is a mark of the platform. The name, the logo, the site’s text, design and code belong to it. What a creator or a brand puts on the site stays theirs. By putting it up they give the platform a licence to show it on the site, in a share picture, and to describe the marketplace with it.
A creator’s public X profile (name, handle, picture, bio and counts, as read when they signed in) is part of the listing.
What is not allowed
No listing, logo, page or link may be unlawful, deceptive, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringe anyone’s rights. No creator may list a cover that is not theirs. The platform decides what crosses these lines and may refuse anyone the board.
What is promised, and what is not
A creator undertakes to carry your logo on their cover for the term they set. Nobody, not the creator, not the platform, promises impressions, clicks or customers. Follower and impression numbers are read from X when they signed in, and may be out of date.
A spot is a paid placement, not an endorsement. The site is provided as it is. It can be down, changed or withdrawn. A sale already made lives between the brand and the creator.
The platform’s liability to a creator or a brand, for anything arising from the site, is limited to the fees the platform actually received from that person in the twelve months before the claim, except where the law does not allow that limit.
When we remove a cover
The platform may suspend or remove any listing or account where it finds fraud, unlawful content, or a breach of these terms. Removing a listing does not by itself refund anybody.
Anyone who believes a cover, a logo or a page here is unlawful can write to hello@brandmycover.com with the address of the page and the reason.
How covers are ordered on the board
The board can be sorted by total raised, views, impressions, followers, or ending soon. Nothing about that order can be bought.
Changes, law and disputes
These terms can change. A sale is governed by the terms in force when the offer was sent. Email hello@brandmycover.com with a question or a complaint. These terms are governed by French law, and a dispute that cannot be settled by email goes to the courts of the publisher’s place of establishment in France.
